Sarah Akiteng bagged four wickets as Soroti City eased past Tornado Bees in the National Women’s Super 7s T20 Cup to stay within reach of table leaders Aziz Damani.

Akiteng and her team beat Tornado Bees by 78 runs, with Tornado Bees in their chase witnessing five players dismissed for ducks.

Patricia Timong and Patricia Apolot also got wickets, each with two while Kevin Awino was three runs shy of a half century.

Aziz Damani had their share of the Bees as they beat the side by 9 wickets.

Consy Aweko and Gloria Obukor each picked three wickets while Teddy Oyella and Ann Nyapendi each got two.

Proscovia Alako in the chase was a not out with 27, just enough to see Damani chase the target in seven Overs.

Damani remain top of the table with a perfect five out of five. Soroti City remain second with eight points, two behind the table leaders.

Tornado Bees meanwhile now count three losses in their first four games, and they remain second last.
