*Algeria Vs Uganda
Venue: Stade Olympic D’Oran
Time: 9pm (EAT)
Uganda Senior Women’s national football team, the Crested Cranes, will be hoping to overturn the first leg defeat when they take on Algeria in the return leg of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers in Oran, Algeria.
Uganda suffered a shocking 2-1 defeat last week on Wednesday in the first meeting held at Njeru.
Habiba Karchouni and Imane Chabel were on target for Algeria while Fauzia Najjemba scored the only goal for Uganda late in the game.
And the game in Algeria presents a huge task for Ayub Khalifa’s charges, who looked poor while at home.
But despite falling in the first leg, Khalifa expressed confidence ahead of the second meeting.

“We have prepared well and what we are looking for is to win to win this game. We have worked on our mistakes and I believe the girls are ready to get the job done,” Khalifa said.
The task at hand for Uganda will be winning the game at least 2-0 to qualify, as a 1-0 win will send Algeria through on away goals rule.
Unlike the first leg where they looked blunt in the final third, this time round the Crested Cranes will have no option rather than play a more attack minded game.

They will rely more on forwards like Fauzia Najjemba, Fazila Ikwaput and Viola Nambi to lift up the team in Oran.
Uganda are seeking to make a third appearance at the continental showpiece having made the second appearance last year in Morocco.
The winner on aggregate between Uganda and Algeria will face either Burundi or Ethiopia at the final qualification stage.
