Preview: URA Target Maximum Points
URA FC welcome Gaddafi at Lugazi for their first home game of the season on Match-day two of the Uganda Premier League.
The Tax Collectors managed to get a point in their opener at UPDF in Bombo and will seek to get maximum points.
“We have a following in Lugazi and we want to give our dear fans what they have waited for,” said URA FC coach Fred Muhumuza.
“Gaddafi were in the league last season and are a good side, we want to put up a performance and we except a very competitive game.
“We need to kickstart our season, it’s a big game and we want the players to respond.”
The Tax collectors have gone two games without scoring including the FUFA Super Eight final loss against BUL.
The game in Bombo ended goalless while the final against BUL finished 0-0 as well before the latter won in shootouts.
Muhumuza commented: “It’s an area of concern for the Technical team but I think we have worked on the scoring.”
This, is expected to be Muhumuza’s last match as head coach before the club appoint David Obua.

Gaddafi on the other hand, got their league campaign with a 2-1 loss against Vipers in Jinja.
They had a couple of good spells in the match, but were hard done by first half goals by Milton Karisa and Muhamad Salem Ekbad.
Benson Muhindo converted from the spot but they failed to get an equaliser.
And Coach David Mutono will be hoping for a positive result when they make a short trip to Lugazi.
