Jinja North United Unveil Two Former Mbarara City Defenders

FUFA Big League side Jinja North United have officially announced the signing of two defenders from Mbarara City.

Centre Back Wasswa Shaban and Left back Hakim Magombe have both signed a one-year contract with the Doves.

They will link up with Head Coach Sadiq Ssempiji who since departed Mbarara City for Jinja North United after guiding them to the Uganda Premier League promotion.

The Ankole Lions finished second behind champions Kitara FC.

Ahead of the Second division season that kicks off on Thursday 21st, the Jinja based side have beefed up their squad as they seek to gain promotion to the top flight.

They have so far officially unveiled Mutwalibu Mugolofa, Johnson Senyonga, Isaac Mukiibi, Bronson Nsubuga, Huud Salim, Isaac Kizza, Michael Kimera, Lawrence Nduga, Etojo Amos, Outa Dickson, Arop Desmond among others.

Jinja North will get their season underway on the road against Booma FC at the Masindi Stadium on Thursday 21st.
