FUFA Big League side Police FC have unveiled midfielder Gaddafi Kacancu ahead of the 2023/24 season.
“From Arua to Kampala, we are thrilled to welcome midfield orchestrator 𝐆𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢 𝐊𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐮 who joins us from Arua Hill SC,” Police announced on Sunday.
The midfielder has inked a two-year deal with the Cops and will dictate play in their midfield until atleast 2025.
To the Police squad, Kacancuadds experience, having previously played in the top division with Bright Stars FC and Mbarara City FC. He represents Rwenzori province in the FUFA Drum tournament.

Kacancu is the 13th player to join Police this season, and the fourth from Premier League side Arua Hill FC, alongside Isaac Ogwang, Ivan Eyamu and Steven Kabuye.
The Cops have also previously officially unveiled Edgar Tukahirwa, Ahmed Amayo, Raymond Onyai, Edmond ‘Sizzo’ Otim, Edward Kasibante, Allan Bukenya, Daniel Otto, Gabriel Eragu and Brian James Obedi.
Last season, Police narrowly missed out on a qualification slot by just three points, having accumulated 54 points from 30 games to finish fourth on a 16-team table, just a position below NEC FC who took up the third and last qualification slot to the UPL with 57 points.
