Preview: Wakiso Giants Fancy Chances against Maroons.
Wakiso Giants will be hoping for a positive start to the new season when they host Maroons FC in the Uganda Premier League at the Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium in Wakiso.
The Purple Sharks who beat Maroons 3-1 in the Fufa super 8 classification match in Luzira, will be hoping to build on that win to kick start the league on a high.

Despite missing two of his best performers in Lawrence Bukenya and Titus Ssematimba, Coach John ‘Ayala’ Luyinda will remain unfazed to pick a positive result.
The hosts who lost their previous home meeting against Maroons last season will make all amends to win in front of their home fans.
On the other hand, Muhammad Ssenfuma’s side will also be going for maximum points at the Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium having won at the same stadium the previous season.

Despite losing to Wakiso Giants in the FUFA Super 8, Maroons will be eager to get their revenge.
These two mid-table teams will be expected to give the top teams a big run for their money, and a good start here can hand them a boost for what promises to be an interesting season.
