Uganda Premier League side Vipers SC has confirmed the departure of three players including Brazilians Rodrigues Lopez Giancarlo and Luiz Otavio Santos de Araujo alias Tinga.

Ivorian Desire Tety has also left the club, just like the other two, his contract has been mutually terminated.

Giancarlo, who recently revealed his departure on Instagram, was signed in June and leaves after featuring in one competitive game – Against Maroons in FUFA Super 8 where he scored a goal.

He also featured in a friendly against Kagera having signed a two-year contract.

Midfielder Tinga, who had signed two years, featured in a couple of friendly games before suffering a long term injury.

Tety on the other hand, has been at the club since last season and was part of the squad that won a double (League and Uganda Cup).

But he only featured in just five games in the league as well as five in the 2022/23 CAF Champions League.
