Robert Eseru Unveiled by UPDF

Uganda Premier League side UPDF FC have finally unveiled former Forward Robert Eseru.

It was reported by The-Sports-Nation last month that UPDF FC have won the race to bring back Eseru after beating competition from Mukura FC in Rwanda, Police FC among other clubs who were craving for his signature.

The Teso Province lanky forward joins from relegated Blacks Power though the club wanted to retain him but they failed to agree on terms after the expiry of his contract.

Calm, Composed and hard-working player, Eseru who will put on Shirt number 22 will add experience and leadership to the squad.

He will link up with Coach Pius Ngabo who was the assistant coach under Kefa Kisala but he returned as the Head Coach.

Eseru finds familiar faces at the club after some of his former teammates rejoined the club including Wasswa Yusuf, Vuni Bright Joseph, Sam Kintu and Arafat Kakonge.

The Army side have so far unveiled Tebandeke Christopher, Tenywa Henry Penza, Shugai Kalisa, Kaija Derrick, Kabuye Bashir and Kawooya Edward.

UPDF FC will host URA at the Bombo Barracks Ground on Sunday 17th September for there first match of the season.
