AmaZulu: Striker Bongi Ntuli Weds President’s Daughter, Club CEO

AmaZulu FC forward, Bongi ‘Mdeva’ Ntuli has tied the knot with the club’s CEO, Sinenjabulo Zungu.

The wedding happened over the weekend at the Midlands venue. The newly wedded bride was so excited, she couldn’t help but share a video of the wedding on social media, giving a glimpse of what happened on her big day.

The now lawfully wedded husband and wife were spotted having a good time at the posh event.

On her fateful meeting with the footballer, she says ‘a bee landed on a flower’, further describing their union as ‘a dream’.

Born and raised in Durban, Zungu completed a business science degree at the University of Cape Town, before proceeding to Spain to complete her MBA, where she was stuck at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Zungu would later return to South Africa where her father, Sandile Zungu who is the owner of AmaZulu FC appointed her to manage the club’s overall bussiness.

At the club is where she met the player, and she literally took care of his bussiness too. The two fell in love with each other, and decided to take it a step further.

After earlier going through the traditional marriage ceremony in May this year, the couple sealed their onion off with an eventful white wedding.

The AmaZulu president blessed the ceremony of his daughter and son in law – he also hired a helicopter to drop off his daughter at the venue of the wedding that was well attended by friends, family and some high-profile guests.

Ntuli, who had two loan stints at AmaZulu before finally joining the club on a permanent deal, has been a key figure in the team. The 32-year-old started his career at Golden Arrows before joining Mamelodi Sundowns, where he spent five years.
