Najib Yiga Finds New Club

Uganda Premier League new entrants Kitara FC have unveiled Attacker Najib Yiga on a season long loan from Vipers.

According to the club, the former Uganda U20 & U23 national team attacking midfielder has been training with his teammates at St John Bosco Seminary Playgrounds in Bujumbura.

He also featured in two of the club’s pre season friendly matches against Pajobi United and Bugoiga Leopards in Buliisa last week.

Yiga becomes the second player to join the Royals from Vipers in this window after Frank Zaga Tumwesigye.

He joins Chrispus Kusiima, Benjamin Nyakoojo, Kasozi Samson, Ibrahim Magaandazi, Sabir Yasin, Shafiq Magogo, Luwalo Kipper, Jude Ssemugabi, Solomon Okwalinga, Brian Omedi, Kabon Living among who were unveiled by the Brian Ssenyondo coached side.

Kitara FC will kickoff their campaign away to SC Villa at Mutesa II Stadium Wankulukuku on Friday 5th September.
