Three more partners have joined title sponsors I&M Bank for the Katogo Golf Series.
The three partners – Merca Limited, GA Insurance and Rwanda Air – were unveiled on Wednesday in a press briefing at Kingdom Kampala.
This is a timely boost for the Katogo Golf Series which is set for its third round due September 30 at Entebbe Golf Club.
“As anchor sponsors, we have worked day and night to give the Katogo Golf Series the befitting standards it deserves,” said Acting I&M Bank Managing Director Sam Ntulume.
“The partnership has yielded amazing success, but we are aware that we can elevate the experience to a whole new level through strategic partnerships, like the ones we’re unveiling today.
“We are excited to welcome our new partners and I want to assure them that they could not have made a better choice,”
- Merca Limited, distributors of the brand-new Renault vehicles in Uganda, have offered a brand-new Renault car for the Hole-In-One prize.
- GA Insurance will be the insurer for the hole-in-one prize. They will be providing the insurance cover for the hole-in-one prize.
- Rwanda Air are on board with a pledge to avail tickets worth USD 2,000, to the select prize destinations.
It has been a remarkable journey for the tournament that teed off in April before its second outing in June.
“This is a very big step in tournament organisation and we thank the new sponsors for trusting and choosing the I&M Katogo Series Golf to partner with,” said Hannington Mpiima, the Captain of the Katogo Golf Series.
“We look forward to a very lively and fun packed tournament. We invite all golfers to come and enjoy with us come September 30th, at the Entebbe Club,”
The Katogo Golf Series season will climax in December.
