Buddu suffered a shocking 1-0 defeat to Kyaggwe in a Masaza Cup game held at Bishops grounds in Mukono on Sunday evening.
Mukwana Yusuf’s second half strike was enough as Kyaggwe silenced Buddu in Mukono.
The loss was a big blow for Buddu in their quest to get out of the group stages.
They dropped to the third position in the Masengere group with 13 points after a fourth loss in this edition.
For Kyaggwe, they moved to 14 points and are second in the Masengere group.
And after match day nine of the group stages, four teams have stormed the quarter finals with one game to climax the group stages.
Among these are Mawokota, Gomba, Buwekula and Ssingo.
Mawokota, coached by Richard Malinga are leading the Muganzirwaza with 16 points while Gomba are second with 15 points.
For unbeaten Buwekula, they are on top of Masengere group with 17 points while Ssingo are leading the Bulange group with 19 points.
The group stages will climax next weekend on the 2nd and 3rd of September with fixtures on different venues.
For Buddu, they will climax the group stages with Buluuli who are also on 13 points and that will call for better reaction as they seek to storm the Quarter finals of this ongoing competition.
