Ugandan striker Alfred Leku has joined Rwandan giants Kiyovu Sports on a two-year contract, according to reliable reports from Rwanda.
Leku joins Kiyovu from URA FC, where he has spent just a few months, since only returning to the Uganda Premier League (UPL) in February after a brief stint at Zambia’s Zesco United.
In Uganda, Leku has also previously played for Arua Hill FC, Proline FC, Express FC and Vipers SC.

The club has won seven league titles, three trophies, and one super cup, and was the only Rwandan club to go a whole season unbeaten in 1990.
Last season, Kiyovu lost the league title on goal difference, after accumulating 63 points from 30 games, exactly the same as eventual champions APR, who topped the table with nine goals more.
The Rwanda Premier League has already started, and Kiyovu sit third on the 16-team table after winning their first game against Gasogi 2-1. They will play Gorilla on Sunday, 27th August.

Kiyovu is also home to former SC Villa coach Petros Koukouras. The Greek tactician is deputized by Ugandan coach Hassan Zungu.
