FUFA Big League side Blacks Power FC have captured the signatures of three players from Arua Hill SC, The-SportsNation can reliably confirm.
Defenders Paulo Musamali and Isaac Okello, as well as industrious midfielder Innocent Maduka have already agreed terms and committed themselves to the Lira-based football club.
Under coach Livingstone Mbabazi in the Uganda Premier League (UPL), last season, the three players were instrumental as Arua Hill finished in an impressive fourth position out of 15 teams, in which their new team was the fourteenth.

Musamali played 22 games, Maduka 21 and Okello 17 as the Leopards collected 44 points from 28 games to finish 10 positions and 18 points above Blacks Power who collected only 26 points to face relegation.
The trio, has however chosen to forsake the embattled top tier club for second division football at Aki Bua stadium in Lira.
Musamali had been linked to a number of clubs, locally and across the borders, but the former KCCA FC and Buildcon FC player chose to settle in Lira this time, with Blacks Power.

Maduka is no stranger at Blacks Power, Lira is home to the Nigerian midfielder since he arrived in Uganda in 2017. The Lango Province midfielder will be playing at the club for his second stint, having been there before between 2019 to 2021.
Okello is a player Blacks Power wanted to sign so much last season, before him eventually joining Arua Hill. Okello had negotiations for weeks in Lira, and was so close to joining the club, when the Arua side presented a better offer, which the player couldn’t resist. To the UPL and back to the Big League – to Arua and back to Lira again, finally, Blacks Power have got their man!

Coach John Peter Ongodia has returned to the club after two seasons away, and has now been given the task to push the club back to the UPL.
