Preview: Mourning URA Want To Reward Fallen Coach
URA FC will want to reward their late coach Sam Timbe with a win when they take a short trip to Lugogo to face KCCA FC in the FUFA Super Eight Semifinal.
Timbe shockingly passed away last week on Saturday, a day before this game which was subsequently rescheduled.
It has been difficult days for the Tax Collectors and how much the loss will impact the result cannot be undermined.
On the flip side of the coin, URA may want to put up a good show as a sign of honour to their late coach.

And his former assistant, who is now the acting head coach Fred Muhumuza said they want to make Timbe (RIP) proud.
“It has been tough times for us following the death of a father figure in coach Sam Timbe but I thank God we returned to training and the spirit is good,” said Muhumuza.
“We have made the players know that Timbe needed this success and now they have to win to make him proud.
“We are playing a good side but if we are to win silverware we have to be set and ready to face anyone.”

FUFA confirmed that a minute of silence will be observed before kickoff in respect to Timbe.
It’s also strong to note that KCCA recently lost grounds man Robert Balaba.
URA beat Bright Stars 2-1 in the Quarterfinal at Lugazi, with Moses Aliro scoring a brace after Noordin Bunjo had put the Visitors ahead early in the game.

KCCA on the other hand, knocked out Wakiso Giants thanks to a 2-0 win at Lugogo.
Youngster Abubakar Mayanja scored a brace on the evening, but he will not play any role on Friday.

And it will be interesting to see who of the three Strikers – Simon Kankonde, Shaban Muhammad and Michael Vinicius – KCCA gaffer Sergio Traguil will start upfront.
“We need to show something special in this game. We know our opponents have a very young squad and have signed over 10 players but if we stick to our principles and do the things we have been doing in training all week then we shall have an edge over them,” Traguil said.
Traguil also commented on the injured players but he will remain confident with the current squad.
They played some good football, although building from the back thanks to ball-playing young goalkeeper Anthony Emojong is still a suspect.

The winner of KCCA vs URA will meet BUL in the final – The Jinja-based side eliminated Vipers and SC Villa in that order to reach this stage.
Last season in the league, URA collected four points off KCCA. The first round fixture at Lugogo ended in a 1-1 draw. URA won the second round tie 2-0 at Lugazi with Eric Ssenjobe and Alfred Leku on target just after the Lugogo-based club had sacked head coach Morley Byekewaso.
