Uganda premier League side URA FC have officially announced the arrival of forward Ivan Ahimbisibwe.

The hunter, as nicknamed, joins the tax collectors from UPDF FC.

Ahimbisibwe joins the tax collectors on a two years employment contract.

Ahimbisibwe was strongly linked to a move to Kitara that would unite him with his former UPDF coach Brian Ssenyondo, but the deal fell through.

He was UPDF’s leading scorer in the past two seasons netting 10 goals in each of those seasons including being named Most Valuable player for the club last season.

The forward joins Enock Walusimbi, Tibita Laban, Geoffrey Ssekibengo, Ibrahim Wammanah, Roger Omedwa among others as new signings at URA.

Ivan Ahimbisibwe has previously featured for Synergy, Nyamitobora FC and Mbarara sports Academy.

The Tax collectors who are still mourning the death of their head coach Sam Timbe play host to KCCA FC on Friday in the Fufa super 8 at the MTN Omondi stadium in Lugogo.
