•UCU Lady Canons Vs JKL Lady Dolphins, 6:30pm
•Rezlife Saints Vs D-Mark Power, 8:30pm
Rezlife Saints will be hoping to keep their survival chances alive when they take on D-Mark in the National Basketball League on Wednesday at Lugogo.
The League newcomers sit rock bottom of the 12-team pile with a 3-14 record.
It has been a difficult adventure for Rezlife on their debut season in top flight, with their three victories coming against UPDF (54-48), Ndejje Angels (90-88) and JKL Dolphins (57-55).
In fact, they have lost seven games in a row since beating JKL on May 10.
The Lubowa-based side must have to win four of their remaining five games to have a slender chance of staying afloat.
Away from Power, a side that beat them 83-81 in their opener, they still have to face JKL, Ndejje, UPDF and Nam Blazers.
Coach Daniel ‘Najja’ Juuko will remain positive given that three of the five remaining games are against teams they beat in the first round.
Rezlife must now play each game like a final but their fate is no longer in their hands.
Timothy Thok and Richard Anyuva are averaging double figures in scoring at Rezlife, but the latter has not started a game.
Michael Otieno, Benjamin Kawumi and Emmanuel Okot are the other players that will carry the scoring burden for Rezlife against Power.
Power have won 10 of their 19 games this season, and winning two of their last three games will guarantee the side a place in top four where City Oilers, Nam Blazers and KIU Titans already cemented their positions.
