CAF has handed appointments to eight Ugandan officials in CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.

William Oloya will be the centre referee as Kenya’s Kakamega Homeboyz welcome Libyan side Al Hilal on on Saturday at Nyayo Stadium.

Oloya will be deputised by other Ugandans Isa Masembe and Emmanuel Okudra while Mashood Ssali is the fourth official.

Ethiopian Luleseged Begashaw is the match commissioner.

It’s strong to note that Kakamega Homeboyz earned their place in this competition after beating the 2023 Football Kenya Federation Cup when they beat Tusker at Kasarani in July.

Ali Sabila Chelangat will be the centre referee as Sudan’s Al Hilal host Salaam Bor of South Sudan in what promises to be a hotly contested derby at the El Jadida on August 26.

He will be assisted by Ronald Katenya and Hakim Mulindwa while Lucky Kasalirwe will be the fourth official.

Ali Sabila handled one Caf champions League last season – KM 0-2 AL Ahli – where he was the fourth official.
