FUFA Big League side Onduparaka has held talks with South Sudan International Matata Gabriel about a return to the club.
Matata left Onduparaka in June 2022 after the expiry of his contract.
He was unveilled by Mbarara City, then later joined South Sudan Side Atlabara FC before signing for Blacks Power in January this year.
Matata will beef up Onduparaka’s attacking line as they seek for instant promotion to the Uganda Premier League.
The Caterpillars will be under the stewardship of former player and West Nile Province Head coach Samson Ceaser Okhuti.
After being relegated to the second tier, Onduparaka lost a number of players like Denis Ojara who joined SC Villa, John Okumu Rogers crossed to rivals Arua Hill, Emmanuel Okech switched to Blacks Power.
