•BUL (6)1-1(5) SC Villa
•Vipers 1-0 Maroons
BUL have reached the final of the 2023 FUFA Super Eight after beating SC Villa in the semifinal thriller at Njeru.
The hosts however needed shootouts to overcome the 16-time record league winners after normal time ended 1-1.
SC Villa took the lead through Peter Onzima but BUL equalised just before halftime through Samuel Ssekamatte.

Both sides couldn’t find a would-be winner in the second half and the game headed to direct shootouts after 90 minutes.
Ronald Ssekiganda and Kenneth Ssemakula failed to fire past BUL goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa who scored one of the six penalties.
Despite Douglas Muganga failing to find the target, Sam Ssekamatte, Benon Tahomera, Ronald Otti, Lawrence Tezikya and Ibrahim Mugulusi scored for BUL.

Umar Lutalo, Edward Masembe, Hamza Mulambuzi, Patrick Kakande and Hakim Mutebi scored for Villa.
It was yet another good result for BUL who eliminated Vipers in the Quarterfinals thanks to Ssekamatte’s goal.
Its strong to note that BUL eliminated SC Villa from Uganda Cup last season.

BUL are in the final, and will now wait on winner between KCCA and URA who face off on Sunday.
Giancarlo Rodriguez scored the only goal as Vipers beat Maroons 1-0 in the classification game.
