Former Vipers Goalkeeper Joins Jinja North

Former Vipers goalkeeper Mugolofa Mutwalibu has joined FUFA Big League side Jinja North United.

Mutwalibu was officially unveiled on Monday morning and this was made official via the club’s official social media handles.

The goalkeeper joins the Jinja based side from Mbarara City where he was the previous campaign.

He has previously had stints at Kyetume in his development as a player.

Mutwalibu, a St. Mary’s Kitende graduate graduate found life hard to penetrate into Vipers first team for the past seasons and being loaned out was the only option for his further development.

At Jinja, he will be competing for the number one spot in goal with the likes of Isaac Mukiibi, who is also a new addition at the club.

He is the seventh signing for Jinja North United after Ssenyonga Johnson, goalkeeper Mukiibi, Salim Huud, Isaac Kizza, Micheal Kibi, Bronson Nsubuga and Lawrence Nduga.

The club recently named Sadik Ssempijji as their new gaffer for the upcoming Big League campaign.

And the addition of Mutwalibu will boost their goalkeeping department as they target promotion to the top flight League next season.
