KIU Titans eased past KCCA Panthers to collect their 15th win of the ongoing NBL season.
The Titans who have lost three games, led 16-11 after the first quarter and never looked back.
They were 10-up at halftime, limited KCCA to just 4 points in the third quarter which they scored 22 on their way to sealing a 30-point victory.
It is a winning start for KIU under coach Carey ‘T9’ Odhiambo, and the victory comes against Brian Wathum who is a former coach at KIU.
Denis Balungu scored a double double of 14 points and 13 rebounds while Amisi Saidi Danny had a game high 18 points.

Innocent Ochera had 17 points while Joel Lukoji contributed 10 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists in the victory.
No KCCA player managed to scored in double digits, with Salim Kisilu and Aaron Trevor Ojoo managing 9 and 8 points respectively.
The Titans will be hoping for a perfect finish to the end of the second round and regular season but in their four remaining games include City Oilers.
This is loss number 11 overall for KCCA this season, and a second in a row having lost to Nam Blazers just before the season took a break.
There will be few positives to pick by Wathum, whose side missed 19 of their 22 three-point shot attempts in the game.
