Tonny Kyamera To Stay at Blacks Power

Former Express goalkeeper Tonny Kyamera has signed another short term contract with Blacks Power FC, The-SportsNation can reliably confirm.

The club is yet to announce the development, but this website, from a reliable source gathers that the assertive custodian penned another one-year contract extension that will see him continue with the club until atleast 2024.

UPDF were favorites to sign the Bombo-born goalkeeper, but the Lira-based Big League side expressed more interested in his services, so they gave him a contract to sign.

Since leaving Onduparaka in 2021, the goalkeeper has since spent the past two seasons, in Lira, where he had previously signed two separate one-year contracts with Blacks Power, this is now his third, in three years.

Kyamera’s last two years in Lira have been significant; He guided Blacks Power to their maiden Big League title, and featured for with them in their first ever UPL season, now he’ll stay with them during their demotion, as they seek to go back to the top again.

Kyamera has established himself as one of the best, not only at the club, but also in the Lango region – he is currently representing Lango Province as their first choice goalkeeper in the FUFA Drum tournament.
