Uganda Premier League Champions Vipers SC have confirmed their players and squad numbers for the 2023/24 new season.
But among the notable names that have missed out on list include forwards Cromwell Rwothomio, Karim Ndugwa and Najib Yiga.
Ndugwa, who joined the club this year in January from BUL FC has been doning shirt number 28 but it has been handed to new signing Grant Masiko.
For Cromwell, his shirt number 17 has been passed on to youngster Rodriguez Shamamba.
At Vipers, Cromwell has found life hard due to limited playing time and injuries that affected his stay at the club. He had joined the Kitende based side last year from URA FC at the start of the season.
Najib Yiga whose shirt number 26 has been handed to Brazilian striker Rodriguez Giancarlo.
Yiga, a St. Mary’s Kitende graduate has also found life hard to penetrate into a competitive Vipers team that has forwards like Yunus Sentamu.

And that all but confirms that the three said players have been let go by the club.
Captain Milton Keynes has maintain his shirt number 29, new signings Patrick Mbowa has been given shirt 18 while new Mauritania striker Mohammed Salem has been given shirt number 7 that was previously for Ibrahim Orit who left the club.
Vipers, this week on Wednesday were ejected out of the FUFA Super eight following their 1-0 defeat to BUL FC in a game held at Njeru.
They will now shift their focus to their international friendly game against Mamelodi Sundowns that will be held next week on Wednesday 16th in Pretoria South Africa.
After that Friendly, they will head straight to Botswana where they will face Jwaneng Galaxy in the CAF champions League preliminary stage first leg on Sunday 20th.
