UCU Canons will go all out to snap their poor run when they take on D-mark Power at Lugogo in the National Basketball League.
The recent league break is all UCU needed after losing four games in a row!
They were beaten 55-73 by KIU Titans before defeats against Ndejje Angels (82-89), Nam Blazers (47-66) and UPDF (53-57) followed.
In their last game against UPDF, the Canons missed 21 of their 29 three-point attempts while one one of their best players in Jimmy Otim scored just two points in the whole game.

This UCU this season have struggled to manage the ball on court this campaign, and evidently made 25 turnovers against UPDF.
Otim (12), Peter Sifuma (11), Jerry Kayanga (10) and Lwabaga Ibanda (10) are averaging double figures in scoring and will be required to be at their best on Friday.
Coach Nicholas Natuhereza’s charges, has won nine and lost eight this season.

Power on the other hand, have eight wins and as many losses so far.
They lost 85-55 against City Oilers in their previous game, a result that snapped a three-game winning streak.
Against UCU Canons, Power will be without Nigerian Point Guard Kevin Ogunjimi who is said to have flown out due for family issues.
In the first round, UCU Canons beat Power 81-50 in April and will be seeking to completing a season double.
Last season, UCU Canons won both regular season games against Power; 69-45 and 66-53 in the first and second rounds respectively.
