Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants will be unveiling defender Bashir Asiku, The-SportsNation has learnt.
Asiku and Wakiso Giants agreed terms earlier and the former Vipers defender has been part of their preseason work.
The workaholic defender, good in the air, came through the St Mary’s Kitende schools system.
He was among a couple of players released by Vipers including Dissan Galiwango, Frank Zaga and Ibrahim Orit among others, in the ongoing transfer window.
The Purple Sharks recently confirmed the acquisition of Muhammad Kagawa Ssenoga on a loan deal from KCCA.
They have been quiet in the transfer window but there has actually been a lot of cooking done behind the scenes.
Mulumba Blanchar and Samuel Madiba are on their list of new additions.
Shariph Kimbowa, Moses Aliro, Grant Matsiko and Ibrahim Kiirya are some of the departures.
