Midfielder Amos Etoju is a Jinja North player, his former club Mbale Heroes has confirmed.
“Amos Etoju has joined FUFA Big League side Jinja North United Football Club on a permanent basis,” confirmed a statement from Mbale Heroes.
The former BUL and MYDA player is yet to be unveiled at his new club, but he has been training with the Jinja-based club for days now.
Heroes added, “Best of luck on your new journey, both on and off the field. Your dedication and skills will be missed, but your legacy will continue to inspire. Farewell, and may success follow you wherever you go!”
Etoju’s agrressiveness and versatility will be missed at Mbale Heroes, he easily ticks at both midfield and defence roles.
He was instrumental as The Surgeons rose again to return to the Big League, he was dearly treasured in Mbale, but now he will have to return to Mbale stadium as an opponent after crossing over to Jinja.

Ssempigi guided Mbarara City FC to a second place finish on the table, earning the second of the three available qualification slots to the first division.
The coach, since joining Jinja North has since embarked on assembling a team that he believes will battle for supremacy next season, with over ten new players joining, though only seven have been unveiled so far.
They have only officially unveiled Johnson Senyonga, Isaac Mukiibi, Bronson Nsubuga, Huud Salim, Isaac Kizza, Michael Kimera and Lawrence Nduga.
