Defender Stephen Othieno has completed his return to Uganda premier League side Mbarara City, The-SportsNation can confirm.
The left-back rejoins the club on a two years deal and he will be expected to be unveiled in the coming days.
Othieno had left Mbarara City last year in September for Blacks Power, a side that has just been promoted to the top flight.
But his time at the Lira based side failed to yield fruits and he was among the released players at the end of the season.
At Mbarara City, he will be making his second stint and will be expected to boost their defense in the upcoming season.
Another defender Bakari Magumba is the other new addition who will be unveiled at the Mbarara based team.
Magumba joins the Ankole Lions on a one year deal from UPL side Gaddafi, where he has been the past seasons.
At Gaddafi, he has been among the captains of the team and he will reunite with his former coach Wasswa Bbosa.
The club, last week unveiled winger Pius Kaggwa and midfielder Yunus Sibira with each penning a one year contract respectively.
For Sibira, he joined from Gaddafi where he has been for the past two seasons and he will be reuniting with his former coach Wasswa Bbosa. He has previously played for BUL FC and Kirinya Jinja SS (now Busoga United).
While for Kaggwa, he joined from UPDF, a side he only joined last year in December from Wakiso Giants. Kaggwa is a journey man and he has previously featured for Wakiso Giants, Police FC and Synergy FC back then.
The new additions will also join winger Joseph Akandwanaho, who was the first signing at Mbarara City in the ongoing transfer.
But they have also lost some player including one of their long serving players striker Jude Ssemugabi, who recently joined Kitara FC.
Mbarara City have already named Wasswa Bbosa as the new head coach for the upcoming, who replaced Sadik Ssempijji at his new role.
And these new additions will be expected to boost their team as they seek to maintain their stay in the top flight League come next season.
