Works at the Nakivubo stadium seems to have gathered pace in recent a while.
Recent photos of the installation of the artificial turf have excited many fans for a project that has received mixed reviews right from the start.
It is said that the Artificial turf was acquired from Turkey and the fitting works started right after laying of foundation to compact the base.

Works on the pavilion looks to be done including chairs in a what is said to be a 35000-seater stadium!
Works on the dressing room, Toilets, fittings in the Directors box, and by November, if all goes to plan, will be open for public use.
However, Ham Kiggundu, the man handling the construction project, is yet to set the official date for completion.


The stadium reconstruction was projected to be finished in five years since it’s start in 2017, and it has since drawn huge criticism because of the delay.
