KCCA FC youngster Ibrahim Juma has been loaned out again to Spanish second division outfit CD Leganes, where he also spent the second round of the 2022/23 season.
The Segunda Division football club based in Leganés, Community of Madrid, Spain will for another year be home for the teenager, who will spend time working on his game at Estadio Municipal de Butarque
“Ibrahim Juma has been sent for a further loan stint in Spain at the same club, CD Leganes to further his development,” KCCA announced on Thursday.
Juma has two years left on his contract with the Ugandan club, but will play the 2023/24 season in Spain.
However, Juma might be recalled mid-season, where needed be. His loan deal has a clause that allows KCCA to revoke and have the player return to Lugogo after the first round of the 2023/24 season.
KCCA narrowly missed out on UPL victory last season, finishing second to Vipers, level on 53 points to lose the title on goal difference.
The 13-time UPL champions then resorted to Portuguese tactician Sergio Daniel Moniz Tiraguil, who has been unapologetically shaking up Lugogo, assembling a team that he’ll want to work with to attain the team’s goals.
The same movement has seen two other KCCA players sent out on loan. Midfielders Muhammad Ssenoga Kagawa and Emmanuel Wasswa have been temporarily released to Wakiso Giants FC and Express FC, respectively.
Relatively, forward Charles Lwanga, who still had one year at Lugogo has had his contract with KCCA mutually terminated.
