Seif Batte: Striker Becomes Express First Signing

Uganda Premier League side Express FC have signed forward Seif Batte, it’s official.

Batte joins the Red Eagles as a free agent after ending his stay at rivals SC Villa.

He has signed a one-year contract for the Wankulukuku based side and becomes their first unveiling in this transfer period.

“I am very excited to Join Express FC, this is a big club every player would to play for and I am to deliver. To the express fans, I can’t wait to see you,” Batte told the club media.

The forward who scored three league goals at Villa last season, will fight for a starting berth with Anwar Ntege and Marvin Oshaba at Express.

Besides Villa, Batte has previously played for UPDF, Gaddafi, Kyetume, Maroons, Bright Stars and Mbarara City and played for Uganda Cranes at the 2018 CHAN tournament in Morocco

Brian Majwega, Emmanuel Alex Wasswa (loan), Andrew Kawooya, are the other players expected to be unveiled at Express.

Express FC who has lost a couple of players including captain Allan Kayiwa, finished 10th last season with only 34 points.
