NEC to Unveil Two Former UPDF Players

Uganda Premier League new entrants NEC FC are set to unveil former UPDF Defensive Midfielder and Forward.

Defensive Midfielder Ibrahim Tembo and Forward Brian Kayanja have completed their move to the Bugolobi based side.

Tembo joins from Mbarara City having guided them to promotion while Kayanja was signed from KCCA following his loan spell at Maroons.

The pair have been training with the Hussein Mbalangu coached side ahead of their debut season in the top flight.

They join the club with vast experience having featured for a number of clubs in the top division.

Tembo had a stint at Vipers, UPDF FC, Arua Hill and Mbarara City while Kayanja played for a number of clubs including KCCA, Maroons, UPDF FC, Bright Stars.

The Die Hards have been busy in the ongoing transfer window as they seek to beef up their squad ahead of the season.

They have signed Midfielder Allan Mugalu from Arua Hill, Ronald Owiny Ogenga from Calvary FC, John Paul Acire from Blacks Power, Goalkeeper Maganda Ismael from Proline, Balyejusa Isaac from Luweero United.

The club also unveiled Hussein Mbalangu as the Head Coach and he will be assisted by Dudu Bosco.
