Admin FC Is Back, Under New Name and Management

Admin FC will play in the Eastern Regional League this season, The-SportsNation has learnt.

This revelation comes a few weeks after the Tororo based club, out of frustration, announced that they would not participate in any FUFA organised activities.

They had controversially missed out on qualification to the FUFA Big League promotional playoffs, a reality that hit the club management so had, they couldn’t take it in, so opted to quit.

The club will now continue with football activities, but under new names, and new management. The club has shifted base from Tororo district to Mbale City, they have already got clearance to host their games at Mbale Stadium.

The club name will officially be changed to Bugisu United Football Club, but that is until after the 2023/24 season.

The team is now owned by a group of individuals from Tororo, Mbale and Kampala. Getrude Nalubwama has been revealed as the new club president, to work alongside Henry Eldad Owor.

Other positions like the team manager, head of technical and head coach have not yet been named confirmed as of yet, but some key members have already been confirmed, and have started work.

Referee Allan Makweta resigned from his refereeing duties to take on the role of club CEO, he has already started his duties, including assembling players for the new season.

Open Gate FM Sports journalist, Ronnie Wabomba has been appointed Head of Communications and Public Relations while Jude Mutete is in charge of Youth Development.

Bugisu High School Bursar, Amir Matanda, will be the club’s head of finance, as the school will also sponsor the club – catering for most of the team’s expenses alongside Bugisu Junior School Mbale.

This coming season, Admin want Big League qualification, and nothing else.
