Kitara FC to Unveil Two More UPDF Players

Uganda Premier League new entrants Kitara FC are set unveil two more former UPDF FC players The-SportsNation has learnt.

Holding Midfielder Okello Donato and Winger Yiga Frank are likely join to link up with their former Head coach Brian Selsenyondo and teammates.

Both players were signed by Ssenyondo in 2021 and signed two years contract with the Army side.

Once the deal materializes, the tally will move to seven UPDF players to have joined the FUFA Big League Champions.

The Royals have already raided UPDF FC with the signing of Ibrahim Magandaazi, Luwalo Kipper, Sabir Yasin, Magogo Shafiq and Samson Kasozi.

This is after luring Head Coach Brian Ssenyondo following the departure of Sam Ssimbwa.

The Hoima based side have been active in the ongoing transfer window signing up to nine players including Midfielder Frank Zaga Tumwesigye from Vipers, Goalkeeper Chrispus Kusiima from Gadaffi FC, Denis Omedi from Booma FC and Defender Benjamin Nyakoojo from URA.
