Kitara FC have confirmed the signature of towering defender Benjamin Nyakoojo from URA FC.

“We are excited to announce the arrival of experienced and tested center back Nyakoojo Benjamin from URA football club,” Kitara announced.

Nyakoojo signed a one year deal with the Royals.

The hard-tackling defender joins newly appointed coach Brian Ssenyondo’s auspicious project at Kitara.

The 2022/23 FUFA Big league Champions have entrusted the former UPDF coach with the responsibility of assembling a strong team that will compete in the forth coming Uganda Premier League (UPL) season.

The defender is Kitara’s ninenth signing so far.

The Royals have previously also confirmed the signatures of Samson Kasozi, Dennis Omedi, Yasin Sabir, Shafik Magogo, Jude Semugabi, Frank ‘Zaga Tumwesigye, Crispus Kusiima, Ibrahim Maganadaazi and Kipper Luwalo.
