Former KCCA FC midfielder Andrew Kawooya has agreed terms to join UPL side Express FC, The-SportsNation can reliably confirm.
Kawooya has agreed to put pen on paper on a one year employment contract.
Sergeant, as commonly knowwn by his peers, spent the previous season with Tooro-based side MYDA FC have part ways with KCCA FC.
Before his contract termination with the Lugogo based side, Kawooya had spent a short loan spell at UPDF FC as he sought for more playing time.
Andrew Kawooya is a product of the FUFA Juniors League with Vipers Junior team.
Kawooya has recently featured for the Uganda Kobs at the CECAFA U-17 in 2018 as well as AFCON U-17 in Tanzania.
Kawooya was also part of the Uganda AFCON U-20 men’s side that finished runners up in Mauritania 2021.
