Uganda Premier League new entrants Kitara FC have officially announced the signing of the fifth player from UPDF FC.
Defender Samson Kasozi becomes the latest UPDF FC player to join the Hoima based side.
After persuading Head Coach Brian Ssenyondo to dish UPDF FC for Kitara FC, the gaffer has moved along with his players and more are still joining.
Ibrahim Magandaazi, Luwalo Kipper, Sabir Yasin and Shafiq Magogo are the other UPDF players who have since joined the Royals.
Kasozi joined UPDF FC in 2020 but failed failed to command starting place before the arrival of Brian Ssenyondo.

The Product of the FUFA Juniors League was a pillar in the UPDF FC defense and he was rewarded with a national team call up with the Uganda Kobs (U20) and he was in squad that clinched the U20 CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers trophy in Sudan.
The former Bright Stars FC defender was also part of the Uganda U17 squad in Tanzania.
He previously featured for Bright Stars FC and Junior Team, Royal Giants SS Mityana, Kick for Life Academy in Masanafu and Travine Soccer Academy in Tororo.
Kasozi becomes Kitara’ eighth signing joining his four former teammates at UPDF FC, Goalkeeper Chrispus Kusiima, Midfielder Frank Zaga Tumwesigye, Forward Omedi Denis.
