Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC has officially unveiled defender Patrick Mbowa.
Mbowa joins the Kitende based side on a two years deal and he was officially unveiled on Tuesday.
“Vipers Sports Club have wrapped up the signing of central defender Patrick Paul Mbowa on a two-year employment contract, reads a statement from Vipers.
He joins Vipers as a free agent after the expiration of his contract at URA the past month.
Mbowa had joined the Tax Collectors way back in the 2019/20 season.
And at URA, ever since his arrival, he has been a key player given his versatility as he can play both in defence and midfielder.
He will be expected to do the same at a Vipers side that will be competing in the CAF champions League next season and back here at home, in their bid to defend their title.
Before crossing to URA back then, Mbowa featured for now defucant Victoria University and SC Villa.
At Vipers, he is the sixth signing in the ongoing transfer window after Giancarlo Lopez Rodriguez, Luiz Otavio Santos de Araujo alias Tinga, Richard Matovu, David Bagoole and right back Grant Matsiko.
