Former Express FC left-back Sadiq Ssekyembe has departed the country to join Somalia’s Horseed FC, The-SportsNation can reliably confirm.
The deal, if goes through, sees Ssekyembe shun off interest from newly promoted UPL side Mbarara City that could have reunited him with former coach Wasswa Bbosa.
Ssekyembe spent last season at Gaddafi FC and joins a long list of players to leave the Jinja-based side.

He has previously featured for Katwe United between 2018 to 2019 before he crossed to Express FC where he won the Uganda premier League and the CECAFA Kagame Cup in Tanzania.
Ssekyembe has also had a stint in the Futsal League with KSPG.
Horseed FC are six time champions of the Somalia League, they host host their home games at Banadir Stadium in Mogadishu.
