Uganda Premier League side URA FC has confirmed youngster Kisiriko Denis Luzige as their first signing.
Kisiriko, a 16 year old has penned a three years deal with the club and his official unveiling was made official on Sunday.
“URA FC is delighted to announce the signing of promising and exciting teenage forward Kisiriko Denis Luzige on a 3 year contract, reads part of the Statement from URA.
Kisiriko, who is a Buddo SS student had recently joined Edgar’s Football club this year.
At 16, his recent achievements at a young age made it inevitable for URA to go for his signature.
He was the 2022/23 Buganda Region FUFA Juniors League (U17) leading scorer while playing featuring for Buddo Soccer Academy, scoring 18 goals.
Kisiriko is a young ambitious striker with a good first touch, an eye for goal and great composure.
At URA, he will be competing for a starting place upfront with the likes of Alfred Leku, Bruno Bunyaga, Ibrahim Dada and Viane Ssekajugo.
He becomes the first signing for the Tax Collectors, a side that let go of players like Living Kabon, Salim Abdallah and Ronald Kigongo.
After confirming Kisiriko’s deal, URA are also linked to a couple of players including Busoga United playmaker Laban Tibita.
