City Oilers youngster Allawi Ssenkubuge showed a glimpse of his ability after a brilliant display in the National Basketball League encounter on Saturday.

Ssenkubuge came off the bench to score a game high 14 points as Oilers beat Kampala Rockets 58-45 at KIU Court in Kansaga.

This is the Boy’s highest points’ tally in a game he was on court for 14 minutes and also added 4 rebounds.

A year back, Allawi Ssenkubuge who joined the Oilers this season, was helping Buddo SS win the 3×3 basketball at the USSSA games held in Lira.

Shafic Kinyera was the only Kampala Rockets player to score in double digits on a day in a game they were out-rebounded 40-56.

This is the 13th win in a row for Mande Juruni’s side that is still unbeaten this season.
