Bruno Bunyaga opens account as URA thrash Gaddafi

Bruno Bunyaga opened his goal account for the Tax Collectors in their 4-0 win over Gaddafi FC in a league game held at the Mehta Stadium Lugazi on Tuesday.

Bunyaga, off the bench scored in the 83rd minute, heading home off a well delivered corner from Joshua Lubwama.

Other goals came from Joseph Ssemuju, Saidi Kyeyune and Ibrahim Dada as URA picked a deserved victory.

It was a memorable day for Bunyaga, who had not scored any league goal ever since joining the Tax men in the January transfer window this year.

And since then, the former Buddu sharp striker has not had enough playing time as he has been coming off the bench in most of the games he has featured in the league.

But on tuesday, he showed composure to head in home a Joshua Lubwama corner with seven minutes to play and his first goal for the Sam Timbe coached side.

The win saw Bunyaga’s side move to 39 points in the sixth position with just one game to end the season.

URA Will visit leaders SC Villa on the final day this Saturday at Wankulukuku, in a game Villa need nothing but victory to be crowned champions this year.
