Sunday 9th April
Arua Hill 0-0 URA
KCCA 1-1 UPDF
Daglas Oyirwoth scored a 90th minute beauty for UPDF to hold KCCA in the Uganda Premier League game under floodlights at Omondi Stadium.
Tshisungu Kankonde who came on for Julius Poloto at the start of second half had headed KCCA in front.
And the final whistle was met with gears from KCCA fans directed at under fire head coach Morley Byekwaso after his side’s title ambitions took a stumbling block.
The Kasasiro Boys have now drawn their last three games that puts them five points below leaders SC Villa but they have two games in hand.
It’s a deserved point for UPDF who exhibited a good performance under the floodlights.

KCCA started off brightly with an intent for early an goal but couldn’t make their dominance count.
Allan Okello got past a number of bodies in the box but he just hit the side net and he later had his freekick miss by just an inch.
Okello was once again at the centre of the hosts attack but his teasing ball across the goal mouth couldn’t find any yellow shirt.
However, it was UPDF that had the best chances of the game with the goal at their mercy.
Ivan Ahimbisibwe and Yiga Frank both couldn’t capitalise on Goalkeeper’s poor game reading and missed to score in an unguarded net.
The hosts finally found the breakthrough in the 57th minute, Substitute Kankonde headed home a Shaban Muhammad delivery following a long ball from Moses Waiswa.
The Visitors pressed for an instant response but Mugisha’s cross couldn’t find any of his teammates after the Goalkeeper fumbled with the ball.
Kankonde had two of his goals cancelled for offside as they looked to add to their tally.
The Visitors restored parity in the 91st minute through Oyirwoth who volleyed in from a tight angle after his initial cross was intercepted.
The goal, was the first for the Left back at UPDF and a contender for the goal of the season.
UPDF remain second with 38 points while UPDF are 12th with 22 points after 21 matches.
