Leaders Kitara FC conceded a late equaliser against Ndejje University in the FUFA Big League game played at the Arena of Visions.

Moses Sseruyidde gave Kitara FC the lead before Norman Ndyamuhaki restored parity for the hosts.

Agondeze Edson restored the Visitors lead but Brian Obedi scored a late leveller to force a stalemate.

The draw is eighth of the season for Kitara FC and the seventh on the road.

It’s a setback for Sam Simbwa who are chasing for promotion as early as possible.

The visitors will be disappointed with the Result considering that there next game is against Promotion hopefuls Mbarara City.

They will console themselves after Mbarara City there closest challengers lost to Kyetume.

However, it’s a big point for Raymond Komakech side who are fighting for survival.

It needed Kitara FC just three minutes to break the deadlock after Sseruyidde fired his shot outside the box to the back of the net.

Ndyamuhaki levelled matters for the hosts in the 34th minute.

Agondeze restored the visitors lead in the 38th minute with a volley into the roof of the net.

In the second half the visitors pressed for more but Kateregga Abasi, Kayondo Ronald all couldn’t direct their attempts to the back of the net.

And it was the hosts who grabbed a late equaliser through Obedi in the 90th minute off Carlos pinpoint pass.

Despite the draw, Kitara FC are still top with 47 points in 24 matches while Ndejje University are 11th with 28 points.

Next Fixtures

They will both return to action on Thursday 13th, Ndejje University will take on Luweero United at Luweero Ground while Kitara FC will hosts Mbarara City at Kigaaya playground.
