Relegation threatened Ndejje University will hope to cause upset to leaders Kitara FC as they face off in the FUFA Big League at the Arena of Visions.

Kitara FC who are two points clear at the summit will set their sights on maximum points in order to maintain their place atop.

However, the hoima-based side has struggled on the road this season with only two victories, six draws and three defeats.

With 46 points after 23 matches, the Royals have managed 13 wins, seven draws and three defeats having scored a league high 42 goals and conceded joint low 14.

Sam Ssimbwa’s coached side kept their promotion chances alive after a Moses Sseruyidde freekick inspired them to a narrow 1-0 triumph over promotion chasing Police FC at Kigaaya playground.

When speaking to the club media, Kitara FC Head Coach Sam Ssimbwa said; “we are happy with our player’s progress in training, their ambition is very strong and they always want to keep winning”.

“They also did so well in the last match and we want to see them transform this energy on the pitch tomorrow in our remaining matches”.

Ndejje University who are battling to survive relegation, sit just a point from the red zone.

They have collected 27 points in 23 outings – occupying the 12th spot with seven wins, six draws and ten defeats.

Coming into this game, Ndejje University succumbed to a 1-0 away defeat at promotion hopefuls Mbarara City at Kakyeka Stadium.
