Patrick Kaddu Scores hat-trick on Gor Mahia Debut

Uganda Cranes striker Patrick Henry Kaddu scored a hat-trick on his Gor Mahia FC debut as they thrashed Vihiga Bullets FC 5-0 in a Kenya Premier League game held on Wednesday.

Kaddu, marking his debut in Kenya, scored in the 51st, 58 and 82nd minute to get off his journey in style.

It was a good day for Kaddu, who was unveiled on that same day in front of the Gor Mahia faithfuls.

On the same day, his countryman and former URA FC midfielder Shafik Kagimu also made his debut ever since leaving the Tax Collectors recently.

Another former URA player Peter Lwasa was also on target for Gor Mahia, coached by former Uganda Cranes coach Johnathan Mckinstry.

The win saw his side move to 45 points and are currently leading the race after 21 games.

Gor Mahia’s next game will be an away trip to Sofapaka FC next week on Wednesday.

Before moving to Kenya, Kaddu was at FUFA Big League side Kitara for the first round of the season.

And during his short spell at Kitara, he was a shinning star, scoring goals in and out and his move to Gor Mahia was imminent.

At Gor Mahia, Kaddu will be hoping to write history at a club that has had a couple of Ugandan players before including Khalid Aucho, Godfrey Walusimbi among others.
