NCBA Bank has injected Sh27m into the forthcoming Uganda Junior Golf Open.
The announcement was made official on Tuesday for the much anticipated event that will get underway on April 8th at the Lake Victoria Serena Resort Spa in Kigo, Entebbe.
Speaking at the launch, NCBA Bank CEO Mark Anthony Mayubo said this is one the Bank’s commitments to help the future generation mould their skills.
“At NCBA we invest in Junior golfers by offering them an opportunity to nurture their skills and talent,” Mayubo said.
“We believe that developing young talent is critical to the growth of the sport in the region and also contributes to personal growth for the children.”
The sponsorship further strengthen NCBA Bank’ commitment to support the young generation especially through Sports.
The tournament is expected to attract about 100 junior golfers, including a couple from outside the region.
