Vipers will be without striker Yunus Sentamu when they take on Horoya this Friday in their last Group game of the CAF Champions League.
The Venoms have left Entebbe International Airport in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.
The game will be played in Mali as there is no stadium in Guinea that was passed by CAF fit to host games of this calibre.
Sentamu is nursing an injury, and consequently, the club has confirmed the return of Cromwell Rwothomio who has been out for months due to ‘personal’ reasons.
Livingston Mulondo and Siraje Sentamu who featured for Uganda Cranes in AFCON Qualifiers, miss out.
Goalkeeper Fabien Mutombora was with Burundi and he misses out as well.
Milton Karisa, Marvin Youngman and Murushid Juuko are sidelined with injuries as well.
Vipers are rock bottom with just points in Group F where Raja Casablanca and Simba SC have already qualified to knockout.
Vipers and Horoya played out a goalless draw at Kitende in a match where Isa Mubiru was sent off.
The Venoms come into this fixture after a 1-1 draw with Raja, with Vipers scoring their first goal of the tournament while Horoya were beaten 7-0 by Simba.
