Reports: FUFA To Decide On Micho’s Future

Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) is reportedly set to sack Uganda Cranes coach Milutin Micho Sredejovich.

The Federation has called a press conference at their head offices on Thursday this week.

This, will be a day after Uganda Cranes face Tanzania in AFCON Qualifiers in Dar Es Salam.

It’s said that regardless of the result on Wednesday, FUFA boss Moses Magogo will address the conference, has already made up his mind.

The developments come after Uganda Cranes lost to Tanzania in a ‘home’ game held on Friday at Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia, Egypt.

Micho who left Uganda in 2017, was reappointed head coach in August 2021 on a three-year renewable contract.

But his second term has seen the Serbian Gaffer fail to impress on a couple of occasions.

FUFA President Magogo has on various occasions backed Micho, asking fans and other stakeholders to remain patient because the Cranes are undergoing a transition.
