Power beat Ndejje University Angels on Sunday in one of the National Basketball League games played at the Indoor Arena in Lugogo.
The win sends Power back into the winning column having come into Sunday’s contest on the back of a humiliating 106-49 defeat against Oilers on Friday.
The game against Ndejje was closely contested and Power led by just three points heading into the last quarter.
And they capitalised on a 9-3 run in the final bend to close out a needed victory.
Samad Imran weighed in with a double double of 16 points and 14 rebounds while Isaac Afidra who was never rested throughout the contest, contributed eight points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists for Power.
Elvis Mutebi had 11 points, Elvis Ssentongo added 10 points and 8 assists while
Yat Tiem Ruot Tut scored nine points and 11 rebounds.
Its the second win in three games for Timothy Odeke’s charges who edged Rezlife Saints in the opener.
James Obrack (16), Jonathan Oketch (12) and Joseph Kumbai (11) scored in double figures for Ndejje who suffered their first loss of the season.
It will be a hard result to take in for Ndejje who had earlier beaten UCU Canons and KCCA Panthers.
